Nah. They shouldn’t be concerned with that. They could possibly say something if you’re getting a nys inspection too but probably not.
I believe that the enforcement of the law is based on the cops hearing it, not by shops reporting it.
They don’t care about your exhaust system to do a PM. My exhaust shop in ny wouldn’t do the resonator delete because it’s against the law to modify exhaust systems to make it louder now.
I’ve seen a few of these, definitely not super rare but I always wanted one. The steering wheel is amazing!
