Feel Ireland lacked punch in the forwards. For that kind of tip on game you need the forwards to be getting at least parity on the gain line, and Doris couldn’t do it all on his own. From an England perspective I’m worried if we stick with a lightweight back row to start. Think we’re going to miss Willis massively v France, and probably have to start someone like CCS at 8 or have a lock at 6 (e.g. Chessum/Coles) to give that defensive heft for their carries off 9 and to get some go forward.

Yeah, as someone who had Dan Norris (🤮🤮🤮) as metro mayor, it’s a shitty thing to do to try and dump your role as mayor the minute an MP slot opens up. We want mayors who are committed to the region and solving the challenges (transport in particular) in their remit, not people who have half an eye on Westminster. I’m no Starmer fan, but trying to dump Manchester at this point has soured me a bit on Burnham.

Yeah — on the rare occasion that I have a night out, when I get home I drink more water than I need to not feel thirsty (about two glasses). Alcohol makes you dehydrated and when you wake up in the morning that makes a hangover massively worse.

Personally I find hangovers worse than the enjoyment of getting drunk, so typically won’t have more than 2/3 drinks anyway \o/
