Auto, regular. 2017 Turbo S. Never driven around in sport plus because I dont want the front spoiler deployed. Low enough without having something else down to hit bumps. Only used it on track/controlled surfaces.
Friend just went through this. Got a 2020 Cayman and loves it. Had several corvettes before. Said the Cayman is just a better drivers car and more fun. If you want raw speed/power the vette has it beat, but for joy of driving, usability, and just fun, he said cayman was the correct choice and he is glad he made it. I went from vette to 911 and my only regret is why I didn’t do it 10 years ago.
Road trips, ugh no. I did fit 3 adults in car to goto dinner one night but one was a 5’1" 95lb Asian man and he barely fit with front passenger seat all the way forward.
No, and got a Turbo S because I daily drive my car and it won’t see a track.
