Why do we have to put up with these dumb ‘questions’ on this sub?
OP has zero actual interest in an answer and is just ranting TBH.
Come on mods, raise the bar a little.

My car will still work fine even if the other cars around it are newer/better.
What will I miss out on? My 2021 Model 3 SR+ can already charge faster than most public DCFCs support, so my charge speed is only going to improve as faster chargers are rolled out.
I’ll miss the vented seats and smoother/quieter ride of the new model, but that’s a minor difference.
Oh and I’ll believe the ‘solid state battery’ hype when I actually see them delivered in numbers. I doubt they will be at a comparable price point to LFP or even NCA for some time.
Again, not sure I’m missing out on anything major here?
Why waste resources building 500 mile batteries, if you already have DCFC everywhere and coffee/pee-break charging speeds?
No, cheaper 200-250 mile fast-charging EVs will be the tipping point.
Just sayin’
“One key component in ICE vehicles, however, has remained relatively the same in the leap to EVs – the drivetrain.”
Really? Moving from a manual gearbox and clutch or auto + torque converter to a simple reduction gear is ‘relatively the same’. I don’t think so.
