  • If that was the case then;

    • my airpods pro usb-c would be showing in the findmy app without issues

    • macos wouldn’t randomly forget my multimonitor setup,

    • windowServer wouldn’t have massive memory leaks and cause my m1 pro CPU to spike to 100% randomly during the day

    • I wouldn’t need to restart my macbook every so often. (something that started happening since Ventura)

    • Safari wouldn’t randomly crash, not load pages or slow to a crawl randomly

    • the keyboard on my iphone would show up and disappear on cue, not get stuck,

    • iOS would not have random UI bugs every now and then.

    etc.

  • My wife got a 15 pro max and I still have an 11 pro max. My 11 just got a fresh battery so they’re both at optimum performance.

    She hasn’t complained about any issues. It just works.

    Camera is miles better than the 11 pro max. Especially in low light, the zoom lens is great, pictures crisper, and the seamless transition between lenses in zoom is amazing. So is the auto portrait mode or the fact that you can change focus in post.

    Speakers marginally better

    Screen better in some areas (120hz, higher brightness outdoors). But on par with mine indoors viewing youtube or hdr content. There is a slight difference in color temperature. Not sure which device is more accurate. Consider mine has 4 years of wear and tear.

    Battery life is on par. This is a let down for me.

    Unless it’s opening a heavy game or app, there’s barely a difference in speed at which the os operates. Apps sometimes load faster on mine, sometimes on the 15. The 4gb ram on the 11 does make it reload websites more often though.

    I hate the dynamic island. Literally see no point in it. It takes up more space than the notch as it’s pushed further down. There’s literally always a piece of it visible when viewing videos. The notch isn’t the best either but at least it was out of the way when watching videos.
