I didn’t see anything out there, but I suspect it will as Toyota’s battery supply chain is setup here in the states. They’ve stated publicly they think that they think they will do more for the environment pushing hybrid into their entire lineup, and trying to have all models only be offered as PHEV or pure electric by 2030. They mentioned in a few interviews earlier this year they are shooting for 150km (75-80 miles) as the minimum standard for smaller vehicles under this plan, and at least 80k (40 miles) for trucks and large SUV’s. That will cover most vehicles driving habits 90% of the time.
