I dislike a lot of things about my dad’s Harleys but I’ll give them credit, their paint is pretty damn good. Wonder how much it’d cost to get a similar level of quality/consistency on a car’s paint job, probably helps that there’s only one or two painted parts on a lot of harleys

Cool to see you finally got it! Guess the Blackwing didn’t last long lol. But yeah, I’m also wondering how the Z06 gets a pass from the EPA for noise, and NPP vettes are already decently loud. We had one at our local autocross a few weeks ago, the launch control is truly a violent experience. Crazy car, I’m glad GM brought that engine to market in this day and age

Giant wheels, overly touchy/grabby brakes, over-sprung and under-damped suspension, there’s lots of attributes of modern “performance” cars that don’t do a damn thing for performance but people have somehow associated these visuals or feelings with it. Definitely makes me appreciate the approach Mazda took for the ND Miata in spite of all that
