  • I’d agree this is probably 20k. I had a similar (but less aggressive) scratch on an eTron a couple years back thanks to a random jackass in a parking deck that didn’t leave a note or anything. Because of the aluminum door, the body shop had to replace the entire thing and the popped out and filled the rear panel that was steel. My insurance first gave us a bunch of hassle on the cost, but it was a certified Audi shop and they walked them through all the items for the repair and it eventually got done 8 weeks later

I’d say you have a few choices… a 1/18 scale model of a GT3 or one of the race cars, history of the 911 book, or a book on Porsche history with LeMans, OR a cool hat or t shirt. Lots of options really…just whatever would keep his interest and grow the hobby for him

  • 991.1 and my go to is sport with PSE on. If I’m commuting or on a highway cruise it goes int to base mode for the coast feature and quieter exhaust. Driving on normal twisties it’s in sport mode and manual and I use the shifter to change gears (while not a manual I still like reaching over to change gears…because the multi-function wheel is still a bit odd to me). I’m only ever in sport plus on those real twisty isolated roads where I’m Gettin’ it and feel more comfortable with both hands at the tiller….OR if I want to do a launch control session.
With two previous reconstructive knee surgeries on my left knee….three peddlers are no longer my friend. 😢
