They’re going back up because the 1.5T oil issues have been fixed.
What do you think made Toyota fall off for those 5 years?

This is the most Stellantis thing I’ve heard all day long.
Don’t worry it seems like most comments on the article also view the author as a complete fockin idiot.
This seems like a rip off. Starting at $19,000 when the Ford Maverick started at the same price and had double the features as this thing. I get that they’re different trucks with different purposes but I feel like they could do better with the pricing.
On second thought it seems like inflation hit the Maverick like crazy because it now starts at $23,000. I guess the pricing is a tint bit more adequate then.
Other than the serious comments here my snarkiness needs to take over: Even if Elon wanted to make a hybrid he damn well can’t because if Tesla can make an electric car a fucking shitbox God knows how badly they’d fuck up developing an ICE engine, let alone an entire hybrid system. I’d actually bet their ICE engines would be somehow worse than Stellantis 🥴
Hyundai Tiburon had the worst facelift of all time. No doubts.

Porsche when they redesign their cars:
But all jokes aside what the fuck. Porsche should know how to redesign a car better. Not this ugly thing.
Oh, got it! That sounds lovely! How far is the nearest store, hospital and stuff though? That seems to be my main concern if I ever lived that isolated.
Am I reading this wrong or do you own a million+ acres?
NIMBY and ocean view don’t mix. One is talking about suburbs and the other a beachside home.
Are we really surprised?
You’re saying this as if they weren’t making econo shit boxes in the 90s. Isn’t it nice that they’re owing up to their mistakes and actually issuing recalls instead of brands like Hyundai just keeping extra crate engines in the back?
They recently reintroduced NA engines to the CRV and Accord, and the rest of their SUVs and the Odyssey and the Ridgeline still have NA 3.5L V6 engines. That means their entire lineup uses NA engines minus the Civic and the base model CRVs and Accords. And they’ve fixed the oil problems in the 1.5T.
They’re doing a hell of a lot better than many other brands minus Toyota.
The transmission issues were solved in 2007~ish
I’m not a big Toyota fanboy but I’m pretty sure engine sludge stopped 2008~ish because our 2008 Highlander maintenance brochure specifically tells you to get an oil change ASAP to avoid sludge buildup. I think that was the first year they used the 2GR-FE on the Highlander too which didn’t have the buildup issues.
AC failure? Doesn’t seem like I’ve been hearing many issues about that in Hondas.
The oil dilution issues were supposedly fixed in the newer 1.5Ts.
FUCK HONDA PAINT. It is damn near impossible to find a 90s Accord or Civic with paint that doesn’t look like shit and costs to repaint as much as the car does!
Also, more American cars had these issues than Japan did, hence why we barely mention them.
Dang you got any photos of said Cressida?
God bless you, or whatever deity you do/don’t believe in. This website will make me erect I swear.
Why can’t you reply?
Oh boy I can’t wait for this to miserably fail!
