My polestar has physical buttons for pretty much everything important (aside from HVAC but even there defrosters have physical buttons, and the temp/seat heating is permanently on the bottom of the screen).
No. Switzerland (+Germany and Austria). I’ve not experienced any issues and the forums don’t seem to suggest issues are common either. And yes, Teslas sold here have standard connectors, as have the superchargers, some of which are open to all brands.
Is this a US issue? I haven’t had a problem with broken charges in Central Europe.
I hope I’m not being too difficult here, but can you share what institution and whether it’s been approved by the appropriate IRB? Just saying “academic” seems awfully vague.
