Tesla and trashing their public image because their boss hits the ketamine too hard is kind of like peanut butter and jelly.
This is a guy who is upset that he’s losing business for endorsing antisemitic conspiracy theories.

It’s less complicated than trying to get someone to convert your European electric car to North American electrical standards in a county that doesn’t really have a lot of EVs or ev infrastructure to begin with.
If they’ll pay for shipping a car, buy an American mach E and ship it there?
It’s really more a list of “upcoming EVs, plus a few concept cars.”
The only “what are you smoking” thing here is taking at face value a rumor about a hovering EV from Tesla marketing people because Elon had a little too much Ketamine and proposed a flying electric car once.
Everything else here is probably going to happen, maybe not quite in the forms we’re seeing.
Some of these cars are clearly about to come out too, like the Ioniq 5 N, the Lambo, and the Lotus Crossover (the latter two are low production vehicles to begin with, so it’s not like “oh they can’t scale it up” is a real issue - they never were planning on scaling production up anyway. And another good chunk are obviously coming from OEMs that know what they’re doing, like the next Taycan, the VW GTI, and the other Porsche EVs.
Aren’t anything but top trim Hyundai Kias until this years model now the top? Turns out not putting an interlock in a car makes it fucking easy as hell to steal.
For trucks, it’s tflev.
Kyle is great, but those guys are truck guys who REALLY know how to torture them.
That’s apparently how it’s in the app
-Also laughs in BEV-
The BMW EV’s have 3 buttons: the “pretty fast, but also balanced for battery life” button. The “Turn gravity sideways when you press the pedal” button, and the “make the car handle like a slow gas car” button that also turns down the air to use as little juice as possible.
It probably depends on the hardware. Charging equipment designed for multiple types of power isn’t exactly that crazy - just look at phones. Design one device for every market and change the plug because it’s cheaper that way.
But it could very well be that’s not the case too. It could even change between oems.
