Why would US manufacturing be a problem when your Accord was also assembled in the US? Test drive both cars, and then buy the one you prefer.
Just use an ice scraper, takes like 30 seconds. The defrost blower isn’t very effective at start because the engine is cold; it doesn’t really warm up until you start driving. A cold engine can’t blow hot air, so you’re just wasting fuel.
Test drive them, and see for yourself.
The headlight malfunction is covered under warranty, so the price is irrelevant.
