On other posts in this sub about people who have loans through mazda financial. Everyone talks about how they should always call mazda directly for financials and not the dealer. The dealer is there to sell you the car and make money.
I dont know anything about the situation other than this post but It does sound sketchy like the dealer messed up and is trying to get you to pay for it.
Shit, maybe they are getting the loyalty discount and pocketing the money lol
I just got my 2016 6 gt But at 100k miles it did need some work.
The brakes were resurfaced at 70k, among some other smaller things. Apparently Mazda’s eat breaks and disks. Im planning to switch to aftermarket brakes after these go out.
the dealer replaced my rear strut assemblies for free, but I need to replace my front strut assemblies really badly.
Plus I need to do the 100k transmission fluid and spark plug change.
And the tires are known to be a little expensive if theyre 19inch rims
So yea, ive heard alot about it being reliable. But there are still some common things to prepare for as with any car. Over all, im really happy with my purchase
