PlugShare. I also like ChargeWay, it is free, and a great little route planner. As for the rest, well, you still need all the various apps for the charging companies you’ll plan on using. The credit card readers around North America are unreliable, the RFID cards they give you don’t always work. Sometimes, your only option is to hope you can find WiFi and activate a charger through the app.

Sure you can… but expect the gas jockey to kick you out for running your car while filling. Depending how understanding they are, you may need to fill Jerry cans and transfer the fuel to your car off site.
