I can do the filters for like 40 bucks and can do the brakes myself.

How old is the car? What model? Was it priorly driven in dusty conditions? They should’ve also provided you with brake pad thickness in mm to determine remaining life. Look at the OEM service/maintenance guide for direction.

I work as a dealer tech, the car doesn’t need any of that. That’s just inexperienced technicians trying to sell whatever they can to make more hours. That’s what I call a wallet flush. Maybe when the vehicle has higher miles but not at 19k

Im going to ask a question here .So I read somewhere that a lot of this services that are offered by dealership are not recommended by manufacture , and not only that they may damage the engine or transmission( something like flush the transmission ). Is that accurate ?

Trans service is needed to maintain warranty on the trans. That bring said it does not need to be done by them. Just keep recipt from whoever does it

That looks like the recommended 50k services. I would tell her to never go back to that dealer.

The filters are almost due (will be before your next service). The rest is just up sell by unless your owners manual specifically recommends them at these miles.

The severe service schedule will be in your manual. No need for shorter intervals than that.

Two quality air filters cost me $25 total and 2 minutes of my time to put in. My auto shop wanted $175 to do it. I don’t really blame them, it’s an easy money maker for them but I’ll be damned if I let them do it. YouTube it and do it yourself.

Hey as an armature entusiest, brakes my friend, brakes. Every chance you get, replace and check regularly. 500hp is amazing but stopping is better.

Tech 11710 is high asf… Most of this is completely unnecessary but what gets me the most is the cost of a cabin air filter
