I mean I had a normal longboard I took on the bus and to every class I went to. Never had an issue setting it somewhere.
Could be because I went to Iowa State and the class size vs the rooms. Worse case I sat on it in the hallway when there wasn’t a bench or put it under my chair.
I agree with the other comments of putting a dirty wheel and dirty decked longboard in a backpack. I can see the advantage if there’s a rule you can’t have it in a building to put it away but not much else past that.
