They’re electric motors, wired to a battery. The final mile from suspension to tire has been refined by automakers for over a century now.
They are easy to make reliable. You don’t need much expertise to make them if you have the battery. Which is why everyone including China jumped in feet first.
EV people take a problem and insist on turning it black and white. The world does not work like that. No one wants to be forced or coerced into your solution.
You need to assimilate both sides to create balance. Toyota understands this while Musk does not. Therefore Toyota will prevail. Musk is a fad.
Order of easiest to hardest. Skill curve goes up exponentially at #3 and #4.
Slap similar paint on it and leave it as it is.
Take to body shop, get it fixed under insurance.

Scour scrapyards for the same car with clean drive side door, take door off said car, paint, if it doesn’t match. Or leave it with different paint.

Obviously I’ve never driven the thing, but I suspect that’ll be the first unique electric car.
Every damn EV I’ve driven from Tesla to Honda to Merc all feel the same. They lack any discernible character. If you had a blindfold on you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference between any EV. Hopefully race-y EVs change that.

Hyundais and Kias have really nice cameras. Their 360 degree view is pretty nice too. I’d say close to par with the luxury brands.
The Japanese brands have really crappy cameras. Imo the Japanese brands actually have pretty crap tech packages in general. Maybe don’t need as many trinkets to sell cars.
Dealerships are like that. You go in for an oil change and sure as shit they call saying you need to do all these recommended services. Usually the implication is that you need it to maintain your warranty. Their tiered service packages 1,2,3 are a laugh. Usually the 3rd tier is over $1000.
I have caught dealerships charging me for stuff that they didn’t do. Claiming they’ve cleaned my brakes when there’s no way they cleaned anything. I go to my locally owned Fountain Tire for all my service needs now. They treat me right and take pictures of everything they find.
So in these days if you buy a new car, the prepaid maintenance package can be good to get. Otherwise do the work yourself or take it somewhere else you trust.
