While I am interested in a BEV, I am on the fence since we drive less than 1k miles a month with 50% being local kids activities with another 50% being 120 miles weekend round trips. I wonder if the higher upfront cost for a bev will break even considering 10k miles driving pattern a year.
And from what I read, EV’s do have faster tire replacements, higher depreciation, higher road tax (at least where I live ) so wondering about total cost of ownership over 10 years.
This when I am only considering EV’s costing $30-40k.
