  • People have woken up to the fact that it’ll take you many years to recoup your costs of an EV trying to save money on gas.

    5-7 years, maybe.

By that time you’ll need a new battery which is a big expense.

Patently false. EV batteries last 15+ years and 300-500k miles.

I think people are also more aware of the slave labor used to mine the minerals for the batteries and how much pollution is caused by mining.

Most of which is overblown and propagandized to sway people. You bought into it.

Plus, sitting at a charger for 45 min when it takes 5 minutes to fill up isn’t practical for most people.

My stops are rarely more than 10-20 minutes per 2-3 hours of driving. Where are you getting 45 minutes from?

We will never have the power grid to get rid of ICE vehicles completely.

Presumptive and based on false info, without any regard to the massive infrastructure advancements/investments happening now.

Also, even if we spent trillions of dollars fighting “climate change” and climate activists did everything they want to reduce carbon emissions, it will still only decrease it to be an extremely small fraction. Not enough to make it worth it.

Lots to unpack here, but this betrays a total lack of understanding of climate issues or CO2 emissions by mode of transport.
