Yeah, it’s not very expensive either. Legit wondering if it could be flashed with a custom rom to get rid of the spyware because it actually kinda seems cool.
Looking at the specs, there are a lot of compromises, which probably explains some of that.
UFS 2.2 storage.
“only” 8GB RAM (the 16GB “extra” is just swap space).
450 nits max brightness and “only” 60Hz.
Video on the rear camera maxes out at 2K@30fps. It hopefully can at least do 1080p@60, but seeing as even $500 phones are starting to get 4K@60, that’s a dip.
33W charging for that massive battery which even they say takes 4 hours to charge fully.
No WiFi 6.
Android 13 instead of 14 and I wouldn’t hold my breath for more than one update.
It still looks pretty interesting, though, and if that $300 price tag lasts until it’s actually available, I’m tempted to get one just to see what it can do.

The Spyware is like a virus, you’d probably have to replace the entire ROM and RAM to get rid of it.
Winnie Puh doesn’t like people removing his ears and eyes…
I own an Oukitel that I’m willing to risk flashing when I can afford a new terminal.
