Well I explain myself the “lack of toxicity” with moderators without boundaries.
Most instances are extremely strict and are trying to create “safe-spaces”, where their (mostly political views) are unchallenged.
And unsurprisingly Lemmy has been flooded with radical leftists and the radical right.
Same what already happened to mastodon.
So I do not consider Lemmy a low toxicity platform. Quite contrary.
All the normal people, the average people, have stayed on Reddit, because they don’t really care too much.
