To solve the housing issue, you’d need to lower the price by increasing supply. Why are people against that? Because then you have tons of people who already own an home underwater on their loans. It’s really unfortunate but this is how a lot of people think about the housing issue.

Also, cite reference, people with mortgages that are dependant on the market are the people that set up this fucking issue to begin with, so let them go bankrupt, you’re right wing, right? It’s personal responsibility and part of the risk of investment. These aren’t families with someone working to pay off the mortgage, it’s an asshole that decided to take out 3 mortgages and pretend they’re an investor, or it’s a faceless corporation, possibly owned by (dun dun dun) FOREIGNERS!!!
