look i do not care if red necks do not want to but this beer. all you team blue vs team red continue to dig at each other over this. The real story is just funny how completely out of touch a megacorp is with their customer base.

I don’t care if they put a trans woman on the can or not. Budlight is bad beer.

I did think the marketing though was out of touch. Ironically, the person who pushed the marketing was a Republican. WTF was she thinking?

Bomb threats tho? I mean, by all means switch to Coors or some other shitty lager but how is it that a trans makes ppl so angry they’re making bomb threats?

I’m trying not to feel bad for Bud here. This is one culture war fight that they lost and through little fault of their own. Chuds made this a thing, and since chuds are a huge part of the Bud Light consumer base, they had an impact.

…But at the same time, I didn’t drink Bud Light before this and won’t drink it after. If its offered to me no problem, and I’ll buy it for a party if that’s what everyone wants, but when I want a beer, Bud Light is the beer I buy.
