A man in Bethesda is recovering after he was pistol-whipped by a group of would-be carjackers who were trying to steal his Porsche when they realized they couldn't drive a stick shift, police say.
I recall a story from years ago where a carjacker went after someone at a fuel station, the car was a Mustang Cobra that the carjacker couldn’t drive. He ended up killing the driver and I believe passenger. Just because they can’t drive the car doesn’t mean they won’t cause harm to the occupants when they find that out.
