Hey guys need some advice on my car i have 2002 chevy cavalier that as about 196,000 miles on the odometer i was quoted by mechanic that for the exhaust and all of the minor repairs it would be minimum of 1,000$ for the repairs i contacted some local scrap yards and there offering 250 maximum for me to scrap it what should i do ?
Post it on racing forums. There are a lot of entry-level classes around the US that look for Cavaliers. At my local track, New Smyrna Speedway, they run them in the bomber A division. Good chance you will find someone that will trailer it away and give you 1k cash.
