I hear a lot about the various EVs on the market and their drivetrain/software/ride quality but I rarely hear about the quality of service that comes post-purchase. Perhaps because it’s not an exciting topic.

Which brand would y’all say has the best or worst reputation in the regard? How would you say Chevy compares to Tesla or Hyundai?

    Outside of Tesla and other EV only companies, the service depends on the dealership group. My go to dealer has VW/AUDI/VOLVO and my experiences with all three brands are consistently good.

    I will say my experiences with a different Volvo dealership service center has been good, but I wouldn’t say it was consistent with my preferred one.

    Now the two Chevy dealerships? Wildly different and inconsistent. The first is horrible with service times so I typically avoided, but they got me my battery recall a lot faster and with oddly clearer transparent communication than my preferred service center.
