Chevy Astro perhaps. It’s the only minivan I can think of that’s got a ladder frame.
Unless I’m mistaken, it was unibody but had a bolt-on subframe in front. But it was definitely more truck-y than the average minivan.
I never actually looked, but I guess I just assumed that since they used GM truck stuff it was a full frame.
Very pretty, thank you!
Me and my mother are thinking to buy a minivan to build a camper. I dont know much about cars and my mother neither. Sso i asking you guys. Maybe you can give me some tips for a cheap modell. For us it would be important that it is long holding, cheap to buy and drive.
There’s really no “cheap” van anymore. Prices have skyrocketed in the last 3-4 years for anything that can be used as a work van or camper.
What’s your budget?
Between 10000-15000€
I don’t know where you are, but currency for your budget points to Europe.
I would look for an extended Renault kangoo. Diesel ( dci) engine, with 90 or 110 hp.
They exist as 7 seats or 5 with true comfort features or plain company vehicles/ utility, boxed in cabin and flat floor. As a work van : best in class. Can’t go wrong with so so so many in the streets.
As a family car: best in class for practicality all around, but ZERO sexyness, or attractivity.Your need / choice.
Mercedes R63 AMG, have fun finding one
