Mitsubishi, weirdly enough, where I’m from (Philippines), they are doing just fine, but they are struggling everywhere else. Mitsubishi have a special place in our hearts, we love our box-type Lancers, Galants, and especially Pajeros. Today though Evos are gone, the Eclipse is an SUV, I really loved the new Mirage but they never thought of making a hot hatch, which would have been perfect!
Honestly mitsubishi literally had the golden recipe for building cars in the 90’s and early 2000’s.
They were doing great in rally, was making records at the drag strip, even their montero/pajeo was absolutely destroying it in dahkar. Then like a light switch just stopped everything.
They even tried to revive the “race division” ralliart but it’s just cosmetic packages in the new models now.
