Back in the late 90s to Early 00s Lamborghini used yellow in a lot of cars, like the Diablo, Gallardo and murcielago. When I was kid I thought this was so cool. It really gave Lamborghini that Ferrari vibe. If Ferrari got red, Lamborghini got yellow, that’s was the name of the game for me. It was such a cool branding move. I don’t understand why they stopped with it.
My Lambo color in my head has always been purple.
I always attributed Lamborghini with that beautiful blue color they have
Oooo, that baby blue? I saw an Aventador like this in London UK. Absolutely stunning.
I honestly didn’t even know yellow was Lamborghinis color lol.
Aventador and Urus have been their mainstays for a while now and the special editions wouldn’t look so unique if they were all yellow.
That LP640 in yellow is an unlocked memory.
i know it was like their symbol
When I think of lambos all i think of is the yellow paint with the doors going up. Anything else doesn’t feel right
I’m a lot younger than most people here and I’ve always associated Lambo with that bright green.
It’s always been purple for the Diablo for me but yeah, yellow for the Gallardo and Murcielago is iconic. That yellow Muricielago on the cover of NFS Hot Pursuit 2 is one of the reasons why I bought the game as a kid.
black diablo on the vegas loop in the og NFS (well Road & Track special edition)
You just unlocked a core memory of my child hood with NFS Hot Pursuit 2!
I still have my copy of that game. I think it was the first racing game I ever got for Playstation. Either that or Destruction Derby.
Huh, I always associated Lambos with their classic orange.
I think it depends on the car for me. I associate the Murci with yellow because of Hot Pursuit 2 haha. But when I think of the Aventador I think of orange
orange = mclaren f1 lm
Green Ferraris often look so right
Huracan was launched in yellow.
I think the Urus was also Yellow in press photos.
Porsche is black… Condor man wrote that in stone.
The first Ferraris and Lamborghinis were often Giallo Modena as a tribute to Modena. I’m guessing that with more recent cars that connection probably became less important and marketing started playing a bigger role.
Wasn’t yellow the press colour for the Huracan and Centunario?
