I am not sure that’s the best use of money with how expensive used car market now.

The. California program ran out of money in October and there are no plans for a new program in 2024.
If the goal is to get polluting vehicles out, then this makes sense, but I like Vermont’s implementation a lot more than I like Colorado’s because Vermont’s allows you to apply those funds to electric bikes, car-sharing, and mass transit instead of electric cars/trucks.
What a crappy program that shipped a lot of good used cars out of the US. I remember seeing a 4-5 year old Jeep Cherokee and nice Hondas being traded in for newer models. What a waste.
