Been a Toyota lover for a long time.
Driving a 2020 Corolla right now and I love it, but my gf needs a new car and I can afford a new one for myself and give her my car.
Love how reliable and well built the 06 Camry and now the 20 Corolla have been to own.
I know the GR86 is collab with Subaru and I had some concerns about the quality.
Has anyone driven one of these long term? (5-10 years)

You want 1st gen to 2nd gen or GR86 vs new BRZ?
As a Canadian the biggest advantage in both generations was price. For some weird reason Toyota wants to command a price premium for these cars. Something like $2K-3K extra for the same car. It was different when Scion still existed though, Scion was always cheaper but just a bit cheaper.
