All I know is it was a mk4, vr6, manual. I wanna know more about it and if you guys have any knowledge please share.

      Yep, mk3 was the first gen for them in golfs. At the risk of sounding all “-well akshully-“ lol… the Corrado slc was a vr6 and corrado’s are mk2 based. They were also in the B3 Passat.

      1995 for the gti (mk3) and 1992 it was in the Corrado. Those were the first gen 12v motor cars that still used OBD1 and had egr valves. 1996 and forward GTI’s were OBD2 cars Mk4 in 1999 and went to 24v.
