I once had my wheels and tires stolen when my car was parked on the street in San Francisco. I called a tow truck and the guy dragged the car on its brakes out to the middle of the street where he could get it on his truck. Then as he going to load the car onto the flatbed, he accidentally put his truck into reverse and smashed the front of my car. The towing company was also a body shop; they agreed to fix everything. There’s crime and there’s incompetence. When they happen together it’s a special day.
