My previous daily was a 2015 Mazda 3. Fuel efficient, fun enough in the curves, dead reliable. I was considering a new Mazda 6 as my next daily, but found a sweet deal on a low mileage Cayenne Diesel.
Yeah, I was on the fence a long time deciding whether to go for the Cayenne or the 6. Efficiency is about the same, but diesel’s cheap here – about a 1/3 cheaper than gas – and the comfort of the Cayenne just barely outweighed the pluses of the Mazda (reliability, warranty).
Retrospect will tell me how wise a decision this was (I’ve got my fingers crossed for the Cayenne).

Currently daily a Mazda 6. So happy with my choice even though I miss my Gen 1 Cayman S lots
