What octane is everyone running on their cars? I know the minimum is 87 octane, with 91 recommended and 93 recommended for M cars.
I’ve ran 87, 89, and 93 octane and have felt no performance difference. Also, I don’t hear any knocking on any octane thanks to the knock sensors.
Car is a g20 m340i with a b58.
interesting, have you tried without the 10% bio ethanol and if so do you get the same liter/kilometer ratio? its to my understanding 95e10 is cheaper but “burns brighter” sort of speak, and not only “fouls” your engine but ultimately you’ll actually be spending more on gas than with regular 95 since its got worse liters/km. again this is what iv read not sure if any of it is true… hence my question to you
