I am a car guy, but i drive a 17 year old shitbox Honda CR-V with 200k miles. Reliable, practical and economical, but boring. I love japanese cars, and i would like a fun little car i can daily. I find the 80s mk2 supras to be a great option. Will these be somewhat reliable if mell maintained, and i can realisticly daily one of these for some years? My standards is love as i am used to a 200k mile shitbox, thank you.

Any old Yote you can get your hands on will last years when well-maintained, but the hard part is finding one that somebody babied for the last 10+ years for a good price. I got lucky on my Avalon, which is not a sports car by any means, but it handles great, the V6 is amazing, and as it’s coupled with VVTI, it’s not a gas guzzler like my Tundra.

Just find a style or two that you like, go test drive a few cars, and see which ones you enjoy driving the most. For some, it’s a pickup, for others it’s a roadster. Just see which models you like, and then find the one you can’t pass up. Took me 3 months of searching the interwebs to find mine, so it’s best to just relax and wait for the perfect one.
