Ended up doing a custom exhaust for mine. Front lip and side winglets. Highly recommend only backing into parking spots with this car… the rear has much much more clearance than the front this car. Have cracked a couple front lips already /:

Definitely lower than the curb, so in that case I make sure to use front camera when it comes to parking forward, so I recommend doing that if you have the parking assistant plus package.

Mind the break in instructions (if new) and while an oil change at the end isn’t required it could be beneficial.

Lighter, bigger wheels with go flat tires made a huge ride, performance, and aesthetic improvement on mine.

It’s fast, you will be above the speed limit before you know it - so be careful!

Fuel consumption varies depending on how you drive it. On highway I average around 34mpg (convert to metric as appropriate, american gallons not brit), in sport with a lead foot it’s in the low 20s.

I’ve kept mine stock, in my view its greatest strength is that it’s a powerful performance coupe with plenty of daily comfort, it isn’t as good at being a dedicated sports car. Live with it for a while first rather than rushing to spend money on mods.

Non-M cars do not have a 2000km break-in period or inspection from BMW so that is a non-issue.

Get the carbon fiber M Performance rear spoiler and remove the little lip it comes with. Makes the back end more complete. Easy enough to do on your own too.
