Reaching out for a bit of help Did a brembo swap yesterday on my 2016 Subaru Forester XT with replacement rear knuckles, pads, rotors, and braided lines. Everything bolted up nicely. Bled from the outside bleeder to inside bleeder starting from the back left (RHD so master cylinder is on front right), back right, front left, front right. I went to start the car this morning and noticed when the car was off, the brake pedal was somewhat soft. When I turned the car on, the pedal went straight to the floor and I got a brake warning light. I don’t have a code reader to read it unfortunately.
When I turned the car back off, I could not get the brake system to pressurise. I check all over for leaks and can’t see any
Did I not bleed it correctly? Is there still air in the line? It has my master cylinder or booster gone bad?
If it was fine before the swap and not fine after, you still have air in the system. Bleed it more
