Always wondered about this, owners manual recommends an oil change every 6 months or 12,000km (7500mile) or whatever comes first.
What is realistic. I’ve driven 5200 over 11 months, if I drive on short trips on a frequent basis am I good. I feel like the 6 months is a little conservative?

With full synthetic, once a year is perfectly fine.
