I may have found the right 997.1, but the dealer from which I would be purchasing it told me it appears to have high flow catalytic converters and an x-pipe, and that it wouldn’t be emissions-compliant in California. Lucky for me, I’m not in California, but I’m also not all that familiar with Pennsylvania (my state) emissions rules. Is this something that could be an issue for me? And how would these items change the performance and sound of the car? Thx!
Pretty much as long as there’s no check engine light it’ll pass emissions in PA. We don’t measure emission readings, so as long as it’s within spec for the vehicle (hence no CEL) it will pass
