Went to tire shop to change a flat and told ‘em they couldn’t due to a missing socket (?). I understand it’s a wheel lock and I looked near my jack and glove box and couldn’t find anything. Do I need to order a whole new set at this point or is there another option? Thanks in advance!
If it’s not one of those spinny types of wheel locks, vice grip the living hell out of it and get it off. Unless you need it. Then just buy a standard nut. Plop it on. Take it back to them and suggest either of these two options to them. Then charge them for the nut if you go with option 1.
