Despite being less of a fan of Mercedes-Benz (due to their current design language), I’ll probably always own at least an older sports sedan (W204 C250), and convertible (R129 SL) from them.

    Actually, to your point, my favorite German brand is BMW, followed by Audi, but historically Mercedes has been the “best” of the 3 in my opinion & they have my highest respect. Their S Class is the most popular luxury sedan in the world. Their G Class is proven in conflict zones. They held many awards / records in various motorsports.

      I’m really hoping that BMW, and Mercedes-Benz turn around their design language, I miss the creases in the body lines. I’m also hoping we go back to actual gauges and buttons. The tactile feel that the German big 3 was part of what contributed to their ‘feel’.
