3+yr old car (i would assume around 4yr old battery) with low mileage (around 30k km). I never had issue with battery before. Today i kept the car on with blower and seat warmer without the engine running for around 30mins. After that car wouldn’t start, and had to use a jump starter. After that i drove for around 20mins and did not have any problem starting car again. I have put my car battery on a 5Amp trickle charger and battery indicator went to 75%+ in around 10mins.

Is battery charging back up so quickly any indication that the capacity of the battery has gone down? What are the signs to look for before battery die? I hear that most batteries die around 5yr mark - is that true?

You flattened the battery beyond it’s capability to start the car, seat warmer is a big current consumer, this all sounds normal, a good drive will bring the battery back up.
