The average new car buyer spends $48k on a new car.

A $51k car and a $44k car are not crazy unobtainable to the average new car buyer…

Just because you can’t afford it doesn’t mean anything.

Just got my FL5 and I absolutely love it. Can’t test or get an ITS in Australia but I would be curious to try it. I don’t think the heated seats and lack of wang are for me though.

Seeing articles on these two just makes me wish Honda gave the Si some more love. Even 220 or 230 HP would have been great. The gap between the two both in performance and price is too wide with no middle ground.

It’s the aggressive decontenting as well. There are a lot of missing features for the price

Can we talk about how badly the Acura Designers fumbled the ball by not having the ITS have “4 headlights” like the CTR?

That was a big part of the Integras whole image, and worst part is they DID do it on the current CTR, why didnt they just partition the Integra DRL it looks like 4 lights??

Acura Designers need to be fired.

    Only partial /s

I prefer the headlights and grille of the Type S, but wish the front bumper had more painted area rather than a floating lower bar. I also think the grille of the Type S is incredibly stupid-looking, looking like a stretched-out elastic bed net.

The flares of the Type R are preferable. The Type S flares look bolt-on, which is a bad design choice.

I prefer the side profile of the Type S, although I’m not a fan of the roofline resolution of either.

The rear of the Type S is less boy-racer; I don’t like wings on street cars unless it’s something over-the-top like an early '00s D1GP replica. But the license plate position and overall cleanliness of the Type R’s rear would make a wing delete worthwhile.

The CTR with a rear wing delete and the springs/dampers from a Type S would be preferable if I had to take one or the other, but honestly, I’d rather build an EJ Civic “Type R.”
