Heyoo my skid plate was scraping on the ground when I pulled out of my home yesterday, went to a local Valvoline and they took it off, wondering how urgently it needs to be replaced, no one at the valo online seemed to be that worried about it but I’ve seen conflicting things online

    Make model year? Protects form water and snow. And rocks and gravel. Mud. Some wiring may be exposed to the ground. My guess is you ripped the holes from backing into a concrete stop at the parking lot. Get it replaced

    I broke mine off 4 years ago and havnt put it back on. Just make sure you don’t smash your oil pan off anything and you’ll be okay.
