I have a 21 m340 and the residual is about $36k. Dealer quoted me about $1300 to CPO the car. Is this worth it? Seems kinda low compared to what others are quoted. Is it possible for dealers to either discount the CPO or use a buyout lower than my actual residual to make the cpo look better? I don’t have itemized breakdown just total price. I called another dealer and they told me about $2300 to CPO.

Car has about 24k miles, never had an issue. I plan to keep for at least another year, but not totally sure. Waiting for the right deal to come, refuse to pay hundreds more per month for a new one or go electric.

Its a relatively cheap insurance if you plan to keep the car for 12 months, just keep in mind CPO is NOT the same as factory warranty, it will only cover major components

You get one year of unlimited miles with the cpo. It’s seems like you have some remaining warranty already. If you’re only keeping it one more year I wouldn’t.
