So I’ve got a rolling project right now. It’s a 1977 corvette and the brakes recently went stiff and can barely stop the car. I know there’s a small leak between the master cylinder and booster and I’ve refilled the rear reservoir 3 times in 3 months. I’ve looked online for an answer about replacing both parts at the same time vs just replacing the master cylinder but there’s nothing solid to go on. I would rather not ask on FB in our group since a lot of the members can be little help or just flat out toxic.

Sounds like the booster has failed, likely because your master cylinder is leaking into it and has damaged the diaphragm. Check first to make sure your booster vacuum line is connected and has no leaks but otherwise I’d definitely start by replacing both since they apparently are both bad.
