    I don’t drive much every year since I work from home so I do it every year. I get oil and filter that is rated to last that long. When I took my car to the track though, I changed it before going and then changed it after coming back. But otherwise I see no reason. I got the car at 230K miles and now it’s almost 275k miles on the odometer and it sees redline all year round, gotta keep those valves clean.
