    Kid with machete? Totally normal.

Dude in a robe waving guns around? Also normal.

Biting a face into a pancake and wearing it on your face so you can chug maple syrup? Totally understandable. But I would go with the real stuff personally.

BUT! Why does the person in a furry mask have someone tied up under a table in what looks like a basement though? Is this a new sex thing kids are into?

Or maybe it’s a joke on a kid pretending they’re an adult and ready for a TTRPG with adults? Because that is definitely annoying. I haven’t played random online pickup games in forever, but I was extremely opposed to playing with kids, for many reasons. Teaching them how to play is one thing - I helped run a DnD club at the school I work at - but that’s definitely sharing the hobby rather than games that I actually enjoy for myself.

OP is getting advice from Mom on what to do with his spare time, which isn’t exactly exuding mature grownup adult vibes.

Maybe the pic should instead have a picture of a grownup who’s extremely opposed to playing with kids for many reasons?

Yeah, as a DM if these were player characters I would be ecstatic. I always have trouble pulling creative ideas out of my players, even if those creative ideas are borrowed.

tbh best groups i played with were through roll20

playing with your friends, coworkers, etc is worse. people often only join cause 2-3 of us wanna play but they’re halfway in mentally and not actually motivated to play.

on roll20 everyone is here to play

Second kid looks like he’s a creative thinker that knows what he wants and how to achieve it. Seems like an asset for a D&D group if he’s not also an asshole 🤷
