A new indictment filed Tuesday charged U.S. Rep. George Santos with stealing the identities of donors to his campaign and then using their credit cards to ring up tens of thousands of dollars in unauthorized charges.

Prosecutors said some of that stolen money ended up in his own bank account.

The 23-count indictment replaces one filed earlier against the New York Republican charging him with embezzling money from his campaign and lying to Congress about his wealth, among other offenses.

If only the left had a propaganda machine equal to one-tenth of Fox News, we could make this a punchline for the next five years at least. Sadly its comedic value will be squandered.

We’re not the kind of authoritarian follower that propaganda machines like Fox work best with. We have our flaws; just not that particular one.

Which is why the ones directed at the left all failed and they focused solely on the right. Some outrage farm misinfo site owners flat out admitted that the left would more often than not validate before sharing.

You’d need unscrupulous billionaires to get involved but unscrupulous billionaires aren’t generally lefties.
